Once assembled it is very solid and looks very nice. One thing worth mentioning though is that it is much darker than the picture displayed; it's actually a very dark brown, almost black color. Also keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Most of it is composite wood except for the top piece, so don't be expecting something that will last a terribly long time (although mine feels sturdy enough so far).The one criticism I'll level is that the veneer is pretty poorly done in some places. The back piece is also very flimsy.
